Raised on the ski slopes of Pennsylvania and settled on the slopes of Colorado, Joel Gratz is without a doubt a winter sports enthusiast! Joel is the incredibly relatable, skiing meteorologist and founder of OpenSnow.
Joel attended Penn State University where he studied Meteorology. He also competed on the University ski team. Every weekend Joel's inbox would be flooded with friends asking where they should go to ski. Eventually the demand was so large, Joel formed the beginnings of what would become OpenSnow.
